Vault was opened by Linda Badell in 2008 when she was looking for a way to assist her real estate clients with the liquidation of their fine furnishings and art, and the rest is history. The Vault team is committed to helping clients find the perfect accents, artwork, furniture and more to fit their aesthetic as well as getting the highest resale value for their consigned items. Meet the Team
Linda Badell
Linda Badell, owner of Vault Fine Furnishings & Collectibles in Sun Valley, Idaho, is a seasoned real estate broker with over 25 years of experience in the Ketchum/Sun Valley area. In 2008, alongside her real estate career, Linda began assisting clients with the liquidation of fine furnishings and art, discovering a passion for helping residents transition by finding new homes for their cherished possessions. With a minor in Art History and a background deeply rooted in the arts—her mother ran a local theatre and art center in Fresno—Linda excels at curating and placing unique items.
Linda's extensive real estate experience includes being part of a development team that built over 50 houses and condominiums in the area, gaining a deep understanding of the nuances of luxury real estate. Her strong negotiating skills have not only ensured top market prices for her listings but also fostered lasting relationships, turning clients into lifelong friends.
Active in the community, Linda has served as president of the Sun Valley Ballet School and performed with the après singing group, the “Vuarnettes.” A mother of two daughters who were born and raised in Sun Valley, Linda is deeply connected to the community, embodying a lifestyle that values family and the outdoors. Her professional expertise and personal engagement make her a trusted and respected figure in Sun Valley.
Jason Hanks
Jason Hanks is the newest member of the team at Vault Fine Furnishings & Collectibles, bringing with him a lifetime of experience in buying and selling that began in his youth. Jason's early knack for commerce blossomed into a full-fledged career after he graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Business and Industrial Technology. Returning to San Diego to be close to family and marry his high school sweetheart, he joined a local live auction company, quickly learning the ropes of selling personal property through competitive bidding.
As the auction industry evolved with the advent of online platforms like eBay, Jason foresaw the potential of digital sales. He left live auctions to start his own company, Cal Auctions, which has become a leader in Southern California, coordinating hundreds of online auctions each year.
Drawn by family ties and a love for the Wood River Valley Area in Idaho, Jason has now joined Vault Fine Furnishings & Collectibles. He aims to expand the company's online presence, allowing global buyers to access and purchase unique items from Vault's extensive inventory. Jason's expertise in online sales is poised to elevate Vault's offerings, ensuring that clients around the world can discover the treasures that Sun Valley has to offer.
